Writing a Short Story
I have had serious difficulties in writing what I thought would otherwise be the easiest of all creative writing, but I was wrong. The story I began more than four month ago is still at its embryonic stage, I have lost the creative edge that saw me scribbling corpus of literal material which had little, if any direction. I have read a number of internationally acclaimed, prolific writers like the Caine Prize award winning Noviolet Bulawayo, Chris Mlalazi, Ivor W Hartmann, Immanuel Sigauke, Charles Mungoshi, Mbonisi Ncube among others, but I still suffer from fatigue and craftness in my writing...I have not lost hope yet. I still believe with the necessary mentorship from the same people, I'll realise my dream of becoming a good short story writer.
